There has been much speculation and mystery regarding Playboi Carti’s new album but new information tells us we’re in the beginning stages of an album rollout.

Over the past eight months, Carti has been putting out new music on his YouTube and Instagram to build anticipation for the album. Most recently we saw him and The Weeknd perform a new song said to be called “Timeless” according to a leaked setlist. The song was received well and is going viral on social media only adding to the anticipation.

Carti has also been seen more on social media which is something he’s very hesitant to do unless he’s promoting music. He currently has what is believed to be a campaign with the NBA where multiple teams have posted him wearing their respective jerseys accompanied with the caption “drop the album @playboicarti”

We don’t know if this is an official collab but with basketball and Hip-Hop cultures being so intertwined and the fact that the NBA is one of the biggest sports leagues in the world, it makes sense for this collab to exist.

Fans also seem to believe Carti is dropping “All Red” a well-known snippet he’s performed and previewed multiple times. In the picture, the Brooklyn Nets posted, Carti can be seen wearing a beanie that reads “All Red” possibly as a way to tease the official release of the snippet. September 13th seems to be the set date for the release which also happens to be Carti’s birthday.

It is important to note there’s been no word from Carti or his team confirming the rumors but all signs point to this being the lead single for what is expected to be one of the biggest albums of the year.
